Technical Writer

About the Role

You will work directly with engineers to understand how features actually work, not just how they are described in a spec. Good documentation here is treated as part of the product, not an afterthought bolted on at the end of a release.

What You Will Work On

• Own and maintain documentation for Cortex, Ask, Pulse, Recall, Pathways, and Nucleus

• Write and maintain API reference docs for the Nucleus REST API, SDKs, and CLI

• Build onboarding guides that get new customers to their first useful query quickly

• Work directly with engineers to document new features as they ship

• Establish and maintain a consistent voice and structure across all documentation

• Audit existing docs for accuracy as the product evolves

What We Are Looking For

• 3 or more years of technical writing experience, ideally for a developer-facing product

• The ability to read code or work closely enough with engineers to document it accurately

• A track record of turning complex systems into documentation people actually use

• Strong editing instincts and a plain, precise writing style

• Experience with documentation tooling and version control

• Comfort working independently in an async, remote environment
