Data Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role

This role is focused on the hard, unglamorous problems that make a platform trustworthy: conflict resolution when two sources disagree, retry logic that does not silently lose data, and observability that tells us something is wrong before a customer does. If you like working close to the data layer and care about getting the edge cases right, this role is built for you.

What You Will Work On

• Build and maintain real-time and scheduled sync pipelines across 240+ integrations

• Design conflict resolution logic for sources that disagree about the same underlying data

• Improve retry and recovery behavior so failures never result in silent data loss

• Build observability and audit logging across the entire pipeline layer

• Work with the Cortex team on how synced data gets mapped into the knowledge graph

• Evaluate and onboard new integration sources as customer demand grows

What We Are Looking For

• 4 or more years of experience working on data pipelines, ETL systems, or similar infrastructure

• Strong understanding of data consistency, idempotency, and failure recovery patterns

• Experience working with a wide variety of source systems, such as databases, SaaS APIs, and event streams

• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or Go

• A methodical approach to debugging issues that span multiple systems

• Clear written communication for an async, remote team
